  1. Can the bad guys make amends for their years as the outlaws? Can the underdogs serve a match to make people forget their string of failures? The Houston Astros face off against the Atlanta Braves yet again since their last match in 2017. Looking for predictions? Here’s how things are looking for the Astros-Brave matches for World Series glory. Now, following the sign-stealing scandals of the Astros in the 2017 and 2018 seasons, they’ve earned quite the infamy in Major League Baseball. However, with an offense that has scored 67 runs in 10 playoff games, and six of seven wins with at least five runs, they were able to qualify for the World Series. As if a testament to their lineup that had the lowest strikeout rate in the majors during the regular season, 45 of those 67 runs came with two outs. The Braves, on the other hand, rose above the ranks after a triumphant match against the defending champions in the National League Championship Series: the Dodgers. Being the team with the fewest wins among the 10 playoff teams, excluding 2020, Atlanta has been on a surprising spree since early August. So which team has the upper hand? Let’s talk players and numbers. One advantage of the Atlanta Braves that plays into the disadvantage of the Houston Astros: the injury of Astro’s best starting pitcher: Lance McCullers Jr. McCullers’ earned run average (ERA), Strikeout Total, and Baseball-Reference’s calculation (bWAR) are 3.16, 185, and 3.5 respectively. McCullers has already missed the American League Competition Series with an injury, so he’s likely out for the World Series as well. On such short notice in October, though the Astros miraculously finished the ALCS with a split, surviving without McCullers would be challenging against the Brave’s sturdy lineup. Fortunately for the Astros, they still have Yordan Alvarez with a 136 OPS+ in the regular season and 1.408 OPS+ in the ALCS for a strong designated hitter that will even out the playing field. Ultimately, while both teams aren’t really fanning favorites in the World Series, it will still be an interesting game with depth. It is expected for the game to end with Atlanta Braves in 7. POTENTIAL STARTING LINEUPS: ATLANTA BRAVES: P | Charlie Morton RP | Kevin Joseph CL | Will Smith C| Travis d’Arnaud 1B| Freddie Freeman 2B | Ozzie Albies 3B | Austin Riley SS | Dansby Swanson LF | Eddie Rosario CF | Adam Duvall RF | Jorge Soler DH | Austin Riley HOUSTON ASTROS: P | Lance McCullers Jr. RP | Kendall Graveman CL | Ryan Pressly C| Martin Maldonado 1B| Yuli Gurriel 2B | Jose Altuve 3B | Alex Bregman SS | Carlos Correa LF | Michael Brantley CF | Jake Meyers RF | Kyle Tucker DH | Yordan Alvarez Will the Braves truly turn out victorious? Or are you still rooting for the infamous Astros? Tune in this October 26, 8:09 PM ET (Oct 27, 8:09 AM, PST) in the Minute Maid Field for the Astros-Brave World Series.
  2. Battle of La Liga Giants Barcelona will host archrivals Real Madrid in the first El Clasico of La Liga 2021-22 season at Camp Nou on Sunday. This Sunday will mark the first time in 15 years that the Clasico will be played without Lionel Messi or Sergio Ramos at either Barcelona or Real Madrid. Messi vs. Ramos showdown had been a staple of El Clasicos for the previous 17 years. Real Madrid entered the match second in La Liga with 17 points after eight games, three points behind Real Sociedad’s leaders but with a game in hand. Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior have scored this season, and Carlo Ancelotti will rely on them on Sunday. On the other hand, Barcelona has battled for form under coach Ronal Koeman and is currently sixth in the standings with 15 points. In contrast, the Catalans will hope for Sergio Aguero to help them turn things around this season. Barcelona and Real Madrid have met 245 times previously. Real Madrid is entering this game coming off a 5-0 win in their last Champions League win at Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday. This will serve as a huge confidence boost for their game this Sunday. They are also looking to contend for the title once again this season after finishing short last season with 2nd place. Sergio Ramos is not looking to falter anytime soon as he aims to be the heart and soul. Real Madrid needs to finish this game and prove to the world that Real Madrid is the best in this rivalry. On the flip side, Barcelona had 0 expectations going into La Liga, but after defeating Valencia (3-1) and Dynamo Kyiv (1-0), Barcelona is sitting as the 7th seed in La Liga. Winning this game would make them eligible to qualify for the Champions League. With young stars like Ansu Fati, Real Madrid should not be much better than Barcelona. Real Madrid is looking to fight against Barcelona and should win the Match Result and end the game with a score of 2-0 where the odds are currently high at 2.42 and 15.0 respectively at 747 Live. POTENTIAL LINEUPS: Real Madrid: Courtois (G) Carvajal E. Militao Alaba Kroos Modric Casemiro Hazard Benzema Asensio Jovic FC Barcelona Inaki Pena (G) Neto (G) Sergi Roberto Alejandro Balde Eric Garcia Samuel Umtiti Riqui Puig Philippe Coutinho Nico Gonzalez Yusuf Demir Sergio Aguero Real Madrid will once again take on Barcelona in the La Liga, this time in Camp Nou, Barcelona, on 24th October, at 10:15 PM (GMT+8).

  4. l4org vs gz L4ORG short for Looking for Organization are ex-avant players. The team dropped its roster because of its consistent under performance. But coming in to ESL Australia and New Zealand, they have showed everyone that they are still a good team despite the constant negative comments on the CSGO community saying that they should retire because they have no future in CSGO anymore. They are currently the top 1 seed in the group play and are the best team in ANZ this year. On the other hand, Ground Zero, is the top 6 seed in this tournament. So far, they just barely made it and will battle against l4org for the grand final spot. Ground Zero in these past 2 years hasn't achieved anything. They constantly keep getting 3rd to 4th places and haven't qualified any big tournaments inside the 2-year with the organization. Hopefully, GZ can achieve something in the ESL ANZ Champs. In the last 3 head-to-head between these teams, GZ never won against L4Org; therefore, we can say that L4Org will dominate GZ unless GZ has a strategy up their sleeves. Order vs Vertex ESC Vertex ESC has been giving us an OK performance so far in this tournament. They are the top 3 in the group play just short of Order. They won 3 out of 4 matches, 1 which was on lower bracket to get them to semifinals. Vertex ESC is a suitable opponent for Order if we want to see a good match. On the other hand, Order is the top 2 seed in the tournament. They were the former top 1 team in ANZ, but they seem to fall slowly in rankings. But coming into this tournament, they haven't lost a single map and dominated every opponent. They will face with vertex for the Grand Final spot which we can all say will be in their favor. From their 23 head-to-head matches, Order has won 18 of those while Vertex only managed to grab 5. We shall see what Vertex ESC can bring us later this afternoon in order for them to have a spot in the Grand Final.
  5. DreamHack Open Lower Semi-Finals (Closed Qualifier) Skade vs Forze In the first match yesterday with Skade vs Sinners, Skade managed to stomp Sinners in a lavish style, and it wasn't even a close game. Skade hoped that their momentum will continue against their match with MadLions, but they fell in their DEN. MadLions stomped Skade, thus sending them to the lower bracket. Meanwhile, Forze's match yesterday was incredible to watch. It was a roller coaster going back and forth that even casters couldn't predict who would win the game. But eventually Forze came out on top and finished the game beautifully in a 2-0 series. Sinners Vs GamerLegion Sinner performed well yesterday in a match against Entropiq. With their in-game leader Oskar leading the kills (53), highest in the match, they won 2-0 in a Bo3 match, and boy it was a close game. But Oskar managed to show us his skill with Deagle (4 kills in the initial frags), leading his team to victory. On the other hand, GamerLegion fell to their opponent Fnatic. It was a brutal fight, and they played out all the 3 maps. Final score was (2-1) in favor of Fnatic. They gave a good fight in the 2nd map but did not have enough confidence in the decider map. Later tonight, they will prove to us as one of these teams will be eliminated from the tournament. Catch these matches at 7:30 PM (GMT +8)
  6. MAGNOLIA HOTSHOTS vs TNT TROPANG GIGA Only two teams are in contention for the title of new All-Filipino champions following the TNT Tropang Giga’s 97-79 victory over the San Miguel Beermen in Game 7 of their best-of-seven series in Pampanga on Sunday. Having finished second in last year’s all-Filipino Conference, the Tropang Giga will meet the Magnolia Hotshots for the right to play in this year’s championship round. The runners-up from last season will square off against the Magnolia Hotshots in a best-of-seven series this week. The Hotshots have been one of the more consistent teams in the ongoing PBA tournament, finishing in the top half of the classification phase and challenging the title in the playoffs. To re-enter the finals, the Hotshots have to overcome another stern test from the Bolts. They were forced to play catch-up in the early goings and had to hang on for dear life in the end, as Meralco showed no signs of relenting in its push. TNT is just one series away from claiming it all. After beating the San Miguel Beermen in a seven-game series, they are looking to once again gain another title in six years with the addition of rookie Mikey Williams and guard Roger Pogoy. They have the chance to beat all SMC’s franchise teams and to finally redeem themselves after multiple heartbreaks against them in the past. TNT has last won a championship in 2015 and has fallen short of the grand prize as SMC teams proved to be an impenetrable force since then. On the other hand, Magnolia’s Ian Sangalang and Mark Barroca led the way for the Hotshots against Meralco Bolts and are looking to do the same against TnT Tropang Giga. Calvin “the Beast” Abueva and Paul Lee also showed flashes after scoring a series-high of 19 points and 28 points respectively. Coming in as underdogs, Magnolia is looking to show the reason why they are in the finals and is focused to be better in the finals than the semi-finals. Will TNT finally break the curse and put an end to SMC’s reign? Or will SMC continue to reign over the PBA and will prove once again that they are still the kings of the league? This will surely be a close game but will end in TNT Tropang Giga being the match winner. Magnolia Hotshots will take on TNT Tropang Giga in the Finals of the PBA Philippine Cup at Don Honorio Ventura State University, Bacolor, Pampanga on October 22, 2021, 6:00 PM (GMT +8). 7. DreamHack Open Closed Qualifier is a series tournament for teams from Europe and Oceania. The European teams will play for today's matches and will be represented by eight teams. Six of them will will be given direct invites, while the other two will be chosen through closed qualifiers. Check out the game schedules for today's DreamHack Open 2021 Closed Qualifiers. All four matches will begin simultaneously at 7:30 PM (GMT +8). Read ahead to know which teams will compete against each other. Gamer Legion vs Forze Gamer Legion will battle it out with Forze in the opening round of DreamHack Open. Gamer Legion has not been consistent lately as they are having a hard time adjusting to their new roster. Their communication and team play in their last match against Fnatic were absolutely disappointing. No one in their team performed well. They all choke. Indeed, when you cannot communicate properly, everything will fall apart as CSGO is a fast-paced game. You check on every angle; you pray on good timing and perfect aims. But Gamer Legion hasn't found their team chemistry yet. We hope they had time to practice before coming in to Dreamhack 2021 Closed Qualifier. On the other hand, Forze is on a 3-match hot streak. They will look forward to keep it up as for them, their enemy (Gamer Legion) in their last 8 head-to-head matches has never won against them. Forze will keep their head high and will likely to win this game easily. Fnatic Vs Eternal Fire Of all the 4 starting matches today, this might be the most exciting one as Fnatic battles it out with Eternal Fire. Fnatic has been amazing with their new addition of Smooya and Alex. They won 8 out of 11 matches played and holds a 72%-win rate in just 1 week. They have also knocked out the famous Funplus Phoenix and Team Complexity in a 2-0 brawl. We can see that Fnatic just keeps getting better and better. On the other hand, Eternal Fire, a Turkish formed team, led by non-other than the CSGO infamous XANTARES PEEK. It means Xantares can kill you instantly in the quick peek that he does. But, in their recent matches, winning only 1 out of 8 matches, they have not been performing well. But to be fair, it was mostly a very close fight. We hope to see both teams perform and give us a good fight! Entropiq vs Mad Lions Entropiq is a Czech professional Esports organization. The groups are formed from x-players of CIS teams. Entropiq has been rising consistently in 2021. They placed 3rd in the IEM CIS FALL and defeated Virtus Pro, who are arguably one of the best CIS teams, in a 2-1 close battle. They won 10 out of 16 in their recent matches and have played incredibly with a lot of highlights. We shall expect them to come out strong in the tournament, and their opponents, Mad Lions, are a Spanish professional Esport organization. Composed of 4 different nationalities in the team, they sure as hell know how to communicate properly as they have a 6-match win streak before falling to the North America Titan, Team Liquid. One of their best performances was when they defeated G2, a top #7 team in the world. G2 owned them in map 1 where they were stomped (16-4). They finish the game in map 2 and map 3; all of which under went to an overtime. Mad lions reversed sweep G2 in a close brawl where the final scores were Map 2 (19-16) and Map 3 (19-17). We shall see who will emerge victorious as both of these teams are equal in terms of skills. Skade vs Sinners Bulgaria vs Czechs. Both teams have been performing horribly in the 2021 tournaments. Skade are on a 4th losing streak in the past 2 weeks of playing while Sinners have won 2 out of 5 matches; 2 of which showed their bad performance. Both teams have a lot in common, but communication is not the issue here since both teams are composed of only 1 nationality. We are yet to see what these teams can bring into the table of DreamHack Open. Both teams are invited to the tournament, and they will not get many opportunities like this in the future. So, will they play their best, or will they disappoint their fans?
  8. Nets vs Bucks The Brooklyn Nets and defending NBA champions the Milwaukee Bucks will square off in an intriguing game at the Fiserv Forum on Tuesday to kick off the 2021-2022 NBA season. The Nets will be out for vengeance against the Bucks, who defeated them in an exciting seven-game series in the Eastern Conference semifinals of the 2021 playoffs. The Brooklyn Nets are coming off a strong preseason campaign in which they won three of their four games. All of their players saw extensive playing time as they wrapped up their preseason training. The Milwaukee Bucks, on the other hand, is driven to prove their doubters wrong this season by successfully defending their title. Despite this, they remain one of the league's greatest teams, headed by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday; three players were in excellent form throughout the preseason. The Brooklyn Nets are looking to redeem themselves this Wednesday against the defending champions who beat them in a seven-game series in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. They are coming off a decent preseason winning 3 of their 4 matches with all players playing significant minutes to fix the needed preparations before the real thing. However, they will be losing their all-star point guard, Kyrie Irving, due to his decision not to get vaccinated. He is unable to attend any team practices or games leaving the Nets with only two of their superstars, James Harden and Kevin Durant. Even without their all-star point guard, the Nets are still stacked with both of their superstars and the retained services of Blake Griffin, Bruce Brown Jr., and LaMarcus Aldridge, who came out of retirement this offseason. Durant aims to carry his team against the defending champs and Giannis. Their matchup will surely have the biggest impact on the outcome of the match, and Durant is not looking the slightest bit fazed. The defending champions will have their Ring Ceremony and at the same time are looking to take advantage of a Kyrie Irving-less nets. Two key matchups will occur in this match: Jrue Holiday vs James Harden, and Giannis Antetokounmpo vs Kevin Durant. Both Holiday and Antetokounmpo are capable of locking down 2 of the greatest scorers in the NBA, Durant, and Harden. To add to Holiday and Antetokounmpo’s defensive ability, Khris Middleton, who recently joined the 50/40/90, is looking to give the Nets a lot of defensive problems and will be a key factor in this matchup. As long as Middleton scores the way he does, and Giannis stops Durant; The Bucks should have this in the bag. Will the Nets prevail without their point guard superstar? Or will the Bucks prove that they were the champs last season for a reason? This would surely be a game to watch and a close game between two great teams; however, this game is looking to end with the Bucks being the match-winner and with both teams scoring under 235. Milwaukee Bucks hosts Brooklyn to tip off the season at Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee on October 20, 7:30 AM (GMT +8).

  10. The final series of Dota 2 TI 10 is underway, following what has been perhaps the most competitive main stage. The semifinal matchup between Team Secret and Team Spirit was equally tense with quick turnarounds and unthinkable outplays. Team Spirit, on the other hand, won the series in decisive fashion after an overpowering third game. Now it's their turn to play PSG.LGD, the unbeaten favorites, in the grand finals. When TI 10 began, PSG.LGD was the odds-on favorite to win the Aegis. So far, the Chinese DPC's top team has upheld their status admirably. PSG.LGD did not lose a single series throughout the group stage or the main tournament. Furthermore, their form appears to have improved even more as they have gotten closer to the Aegis. PSG.LGD absolutely outsmarted the tightest Team Secret roster in years in the upper bracket finals. While Ludwig "zai" Whlberg and Clement "Puppey" Ivanov succumbed to the pressure, PSG.LGD's Ame maintained his cool and won both games without dying. On the other side, Team Spirit's recent success is unrivaled. They've had a near-perfect lower bracket run, coming in second only to Team Liquid at TI 2017. Yatoro, Team Spirit's carry, now has an unbeatable record of three rampages in TI whether their young, energetic, and simply wild style of play will be enough to dethrone PSG or not. Going into the finals, the only certainty is how well PSG.LGD will fare against 'the one true TS.' PSG.LGD is noted for their precision and impeccable gameplay. Dota 2 swings at this high level of the top competition on the tiniest of mistakes, which PSG.LGD rarely makes. Statistically, PSG.LGD holds a huge advantage. The two teams have played each other in 12 individual games of Dota 2, out of which PSG.LGD have won 9. Our best and most exciting match has yet to come! Who will take the crown? PSG.LGD or Tspirit?
  11. POTENTIAL LINEUPS: Real Sociedad: Remiro (G) Zaldua Elustondo Gorosabel Le Normand Dozagarat Romero Zubimendi Merino Januzaj Oyarzabal Mallorca: Reina (G) Sevilla Lee Maffeo Nino D. Rodriguez Baba Valjent De Galarreta Oliva Kubo Real Sociedad vs Mallorca Real Sociedad currently sits at the 3rd seed while Mallorca sits at the 12th seed. Real Sociedad aims to extend their winning streak this coming Sunday against Mallorca who is also looking to bounce back. Mallorca has lost 3 games in their past 4 games and has just recently won against Levante. Real Sociedad’s Oyarzabal has carried his team this whole season in La Liga and is not stopping until he gets to his goal. While in LaLiga, only one other team has scored three or more goals from corner situations in a single season, and that team is Mallorca. Real Sociedad is in the form they sought to be in La Liga, winning three home games at Reale Arena. They have beaten Mallorca 8 times in their past 14 meetings. They are looking to make their match up this Sunday another home game win and another win to add to their previous faceoffs. Real Sociedad has beaten Mallorca 3 times in La Liga without allowing them to have a single goal. They look to break the curse of winning against Mallorca 4 straight games without Mallorca scoring a goal. Mikel Oyarzábal looks to carry his team once again and add more goals made to his stat sheet against Mallorca. He is also the second top scorer, 7 goals made in the competition after Karim Benzama, 9 goals made. With Real Sociedad having better defensive and offensive players against Mallorca, it would be an upset if Mallorca wins this game, or even ties the game. As Mallorca’s best players, Daniel Jose Rodriguez and Fernando Nino whose expected goal value per 90 minutes is 1.49 and 1.54 respectively, will really need to step-up against a top team like Real Sociedad. Mallorca’s goals from the corner are still currently the best in LaLiga, and is where Daniel Jose Rodriguez and Fernando Nino shined. Real Sociedad is looking to demolish Mallorca and should win the Match Result and end the game with a score of 2-0, where the odds are currently high at 1.44 and 6.30 respectively at 747.live. Real Sociedad will once again take on Mallorca in the La Liga, this time in San Sebastian, at Reale Arena on October 17, 2021, at 3:00, am (GMT+8).
  12. Team Spirit vs OG (Live at 3:00 PM PST) Spirit defeated Invictus Gaming in the first round of the Upper Bracket, taking one map from the Chinese giants, the Singapore Major champion. Although no miracle occurred, the Russian team has already defeated Fnatic (2-0) in the Lower Bracket, demonstrating that they will not conclude this TI10 early. The famous back-to-back champions are going to continue its glorious march for 3peat through the lower bracket after losing in the upper bracket, when OG were defeated by the Secret team (0-2). The OG team was defeated by PUPPEY's smart draft. The drafts on both maps were questionable, particularly on the second, where topson played hoodwink in the mid lane and it appeared to be a failed experiment. OG's match vs Quincy Crew was a heartbreaking match as YawaR in Quincy Crew called "GG GL LIL BRO". OG's heart melted even if they won the match, especially when the message was intended for his little brother, Sumail. OG squad knocked the North Americans out of the tournament, winning 2-0. But with the Team Spirit, it will be more challenging to do so. They've been incredibly consistent recently and let's hope to see a good match later at 3pm. T1 vs Vici Gaming (Live at 6:30 PM PST) SEA Dota 2 squad T1 will have another shot today in their TI10 journey in the lower bracket after stomping and sending European squad Alliance to the airport. T1 has clinched a spot in the top eight, ensuring a prize pool of at least $1,000,500 (about P50 million). T1 had a somewhat faster-paced game, winning early game engages in Game 1 to win in 37 minutes. On hits carry Wraith King, Pinoy midlaner Karl "Karl" Baldovino finished the game with a 13/3/7 KDA, while carry 23Savage one-shotted the EU squad's supports. His KDA was 13/1/8 at the end of Game 1. Karl dominated Game 2 with his Ember Spirit, wiping out Alliance's backline. With an 18/2/18 KD, he ended the game. In the series against EG, VG used a similar approach, playing slowly and not panicking when EG established an early lead. Instead, they concentrated on using their players’ talents and abilities to farm and counter the ganks and executions made by EG. VG have such a strong lane presence that it gave VG some breathing room and prevented EG from fully committing to pushes at favorable opportunity because EG was leading early in the game. It didn't matter if Arteezy was using his Troll Warlord or Abed was using his Storm Spirit. After 24 minutes, VG gained command and never looked back. T1 vs Vici Gaming will be an exciting match to watch.
  13. To our Dear Agents, We would like to apologize for the service interruption you are experiencing in our website right now. This is due to some technical issues in our software. Rest assured that our Technical Team are now doing their best to restore our website. We are very sorry for the inconvenience! We will be back soon!
  14. Invictus Gaming vs Team Secret (Live at 8:00 PM PST) Team Secret has had a strong showing at The International 10, finishing second in the group stage and defeating two-time defending champion OG in the main stage's opening round. They have a distinct style, strong individual players, and the ability to hold their own against any top competition. Puppey, MATUMBAMAN, and their teammates will face another challenge when they face Chinese juggernaut, Invictus Gaming, now that they are one step closer to raising the Aegis of Champions for the first time under Secret's banner. IG won the group stage but suffered in the first round of the main event against the underdogs of Team Spirit, losing the first game before winning 2-1 and advancing on. Secret is a team that might cause them major problems because they are one of the most versatile teams in the world. They have a great early game that tends to overpower inferior opponents. Puppey's team might potentially take IG apart if they can't manage their aggressive tendencies as they punish players who overextend brutally. Secret is significantly more stable than IG despite its difficulty. They are a team that places a high value on goals and frequently relies on individual player’s abilities to move the game in their favor before launching a concerted attack. So don't miss out later, and don’t forget to bet at 747.live because whoever wins this matchup secures $2,401,100. So, who will it be? Let’s find out together later, and bet at 747 live. PSG.LGD vs Virtus Pro (Live Oct 15 at 12:30 AM PST) PSG and Virtus.pro LGD advanced to Round 2 of the upper bracket at The International 10 in Bucharest, Romania after a hard-fought victory on Wednesday. To defeat Vici Gaming, Virtus.pro had to come back from a map deficit. To progress to Thursday's match versus VP, PSG.LGD overcame T1 in three maps. PSG.LGD is the favorite here to win because they have shown us just how powerful they are as a team and also as an individual player with different unique talents. Unlike other teams who solely focus on letting their carry and mid role farm and wait for them to be 3 slotted or 4 slotted to join the clash, LGD's individual player can each make their own plays, not relying on their core players. They create space for each other. When it comes to team fight, they'll be all present and ready to execute their opponents. Meanwhile, Virtus Pro's playstyle revolves around on how GPK can execute and create space for Nightfall to utilize their camp. GPK's hero pool are of those heroes that do not really need farm but solely focusing on seizing their opponents. We love to see their matchup later as this will be a hell of a brawl later at 12:00 midnight PST.
  15. T1 vs Alliance (Live at 3 PM PST) T1 was unable to build on their spectacular victory in Game Two, falling to title favorites. PSG. LGD won 1-2 in three games in the International 10's top bracket on Wednesday night. T1 fought well but fell to PSG.LGD. They gave PSG.LGD a hard time to earn their win. Even the casters said after the game during an interview that only T1 gave PSG.LGD a challenging game throughout the event! Kudos to the SEA Region for giving us a good show, and they still have a chance later against Alliance. This will be their last chance in the main stage. On the other hand, Alliance has also given us a good time watching their match against Beastcoast. Alliance came out fire right away, taking down K1's Sven well before he became a threat and then rolling over Beastcoast for a solid 25 minutes, surviving a perilous late-game push to bring the game to a close. We shall see if Alliance can continue their momentum from Beastcoast's game or if T1 will dominate them since from their last head-to-head matches, Alliance never won a match against them. Place your bets on the Prematch before the game goes live so you won't miss it! VICI GAMING vs EVIL GENIUSES (Live at 6:30 PM PST) Vici Gaming fought well yesterday in the main stage against Virtus Pro. They won game 1 but got reversed sweep by VP (1-2). In the first game of the BO3, Virtus.Pro had a minor issue. Vici Gaming used stunning Reverse Polarities and Tiny's devastating damage to thoroughly overwhelm the Russian team. The second encounter, on the other hand, presented an entirely different scenario, and Vici was forced to raise the white flag. Virtus had an easy time in the championship match. Gpk zipped throughout the game on his Storm Spirit. Vici dropped out of the game due to a lack of solutions, and hopefully later they will prove us what it takes to be one of the Chinese titan teams. On the other hand, Evil Geniuses, are the favorites to win here. Evil Geniuses stomped Elephant to progress to the second round of The International 10 lower bracket on Wednesday, captained by Abed "Abed" Yusop. In the Evil Geniuses' 41-13 thrashing of the Chinese team led by veterans Lu "SomnusM" Yao (Storm Spirit) and Xu "fy" Linsen, the Filipino star midlaner, racked up 13 kills and 13 assists with just four deaths. Elephant was forced to call GG when a siege down the bottom lane resulted in a four-man wipe for Evil Geniuses, ending the match in 39 minutes and 45 seconds. Evil Geniuses did not hesitate at all in destroying one of the promising teams in China Now they will have to face another Chinese team later, and we shall find out if the Chinese are really the dominants here in the TI10. Place your bets here
  16. Team Spirit vs Fnatic (Live at 9:00 PM PST, Oct 13) Team Spirit gave us a disappointing performance over Invictus Gaming despite their comeback in game 1. They were up 10k gold in game 2 and did not seize the opportunity to choke the opponents and close the game. Invictus Gaming managed to comeback with Morphling and Ember Spirit together with a BIG FAT DOOM, closing the game 2 in a fashionable way. Team Spirit's 3rd game was also a disappointing game; they were up (10-3) kills and were up 3k gold lead in just 10 minutes, and they managed to blow it away again. Final Score was (16-55) in 40 mins. Their inconsistency is what's going to get them to lose their TI Dream. Meanwhile, Team Fnatic's game against Team Undying was successful, having Raven play his 2nd favorite carry (Luna) and farmed pretty quickly to stop Timado's (Naga Siren). They finished the game in just 28 minutes, and they were performing consistently well, not giving them the long game that they wanted for Naga Siren to comeback. All in all we shall have a good match later, and we shall see if Team Fnatic can survive another day in the lower bracket since Team Spirit is also not performing well. OG vs Quincy Crew (Live at 12:00 AM PST, Oct 14) OG's performance yesterday was not what we had expected on our minds. We thought they could give us a good game and could give Team Secret a hard time. But it seems that Team Secret is the one giving OG the hard time as they STOMP them easily in yesterday's brawl winning (2-0). Having Topson to play (Hoodwink) and giving his favorite mid hero (Monkey King) to their offlaner Ceb was not a good choice. The game ended quickly just under 28 minutes with the final score (5-42) with 28k gold on Team Secret. Natures Prophet carried the team to victory despite a deficit of 12k Gold. Quincy Crew did not surrender and was victorious! And later at the last game of the tournament The long awaited for the Brother vs Brother battle, Carry vs Carry, and we shall see who's the better Carry.
  17. PSG.LGD vs T1 (Live at 2:00 PM PST) PSG.LGD is the team that all of the fans are betting on. They only lost one game in the group stage and achieved the tournament's best performance. All of the players are versatile. PSG.LGD is difficult to beat since every single player is capable of playing at a high level. They're all the best at what they do, and their "Hard Carry" is a farm beast. The team's Hard Carry, "Ame", shown to everyone that he is deserving to claim the AEGIS. Virtus Pro vs Vici Gaming (Live at 5:00 PM PST) T1 played surprisingly well and will face PSG.LGD who coming into the tournament is the best team and the best hope for the Chinese to win the Aegis. Virtus Pro is the pride of the Russians. Virtus Pro has all it takes to win the TI 10 tournament, but it won't be easy. Despite having players like Danil "gpk" Skutin on the roster, the CIS will have to compete against the best in the world in order to lift the Aegis Virtus Pro's recent perfomance that has been outstanding; they are Group A's #2 seed. Winning 11 matches out of 16 is pretty good already since this team is all new in TI10. On the other hand, Vici Gaming's performance is also not so bad, winning 10 out of 16 matches. But we can say that Group B is an easy brawl since the only TOP TIER team there is PSG.LGD and Team Secret. But we shall see what Vici Gaming has prepared for us as later we will find out who will be victorious. Will it be the BEARS? Or will another Chinese team proceed to the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals?
  18. The Dota 2 International 10 group stages are now complete, and we're on our way to the main event to see who will take home the largest share of the $40 million prize pool and the famous Aegis of Champions. Coming up for our first game in the main stage: Invictus Gaming vs Team Spirit (Live at 3 PM PST) Invictus Gaming had a marvelous performance with a semi perfect score standing winning 14 out of 16 matches in the group stages. Invictus Gaming only dropped 2 matches, losing to OG 1-1 and Team Undying 1-1. They are currently in their best form since their past TI matches. We can say that IG is worth your money, so let us see how far they bring us in the upper bracket. On the other hand, we couldn't believe the comeback that Team Spirit has made in the group stages! They lost all 4 matches in day 1 and a 2-2 on day 2. They were top 8 in group B just on the 2nd day pretty close to the 9th spot which was auto eliminated. They put up a very good show with TORONTOKYO having 1 match with RAMPAGE and another one with Ultra Kill and the last one got stolen by Yatoro. We can say that Invictus Gaming will be slightly ahead (65-35) against Team Spirit. But let us not count out anything yet, for number does not mean anything as this is the grandest of the tournament. Team Secret vs OG (Live at 5:30 PM PST) Team Secret had a shaky ending almost sending them to the lower bracket, but they've managed to just cling on by 1 pt. in the upper bracket. Their recent performance was 50-50. They were not consistent. It has been the same every year for Team Secret. They are very strong in other tournaments, but when it comes to TI, they just couldn't handle the pressure. Their match will start up against OG, who are performing surprisingly well, given that their history in the group stage was a nightmare in TI8 and TI9. OG has been consistently good, and they have adjusted pretty quickly with KING Sumail and are the favorites here in the Upper Bracket together with PSG.LGD. Team Secret vs OG is a must-watch game. Winning rate wise, people voted for OG winning the series, but our hearts say Team Secret! Can OG pursue their dream of back-to-back to back TI Champions? Or will Team Secret grab themselves a victory and advance to the Upper Bracket Round 2? Next up are the teams in the lower bracket and will be played in a BO1 Series starting off at 8:30 PM PST! Team Undying vs Fnatic (Live at 8:30 PM PST) Team Undying won 9 out of 16 matches in the group stage. A rather good performance for a team in their caliber! They have shown us what they can do and what they can achieve. They just have to execute it properly. The most important thing that's lacking from them is their communication when clashing. It happened numerous times already when they have the gold lead in the early stage and then just lost it in the mid game up to the long game. They did not communicate properly on what they want to achieve in the game. Communication is a major key to winning team fights. Winning early stages of the game and then losing it slowly over the time showed that Team Fnatic has really been struggling. In one of Fnatic's match against PSG.LGD, they were already leading a 10k net worth and then just choked the game in the long run, thus losing all team fights right after. Many fans were disappointed in their performance in the group stage. But like I said, in the lower bracket BO1 series, anything can happen! Quincy Crew vs Team Aster (Live at 9:30PM PST) Quincy Crew appeared to be a weak team in the group stage, and they were one of the favorites to exit the competition before the final day. However, on the final game day of the group stage of The International 10, the team rallied and earned two victories, allowing them to move up to sixth position in the group. If the win over SG was expected, the victory versus Elephant came as a complete shock. After all, China's team is one of the best in the competition. Nonetheless, the Quincy Crew's performance was unimpressive, and even their lone victory over the tough Chinese did not change the team's mindset. Team Aster had the potential to go well in this competition and was obviously in contention for the top playoff slot even before it began. The boys, on the other hand, are having no luck. First, the team had to play without their midfielder. There are now reports that the entire team is unwell and not playing at their best. It was perfectly proven in the group stage as Team Aster fared horribly. This is a fantastic opportunity for their current opponents to drop out, but Quincy Crew were so bad in the group stage that the upcoming match appears completely unpredictable. Both teams struggled in the group stage and did not perform to their full potential. Nonetheless, Quincy Crew has looked a little better in recent rounds while the Chinese team has too many issues, and they have only won two maps versus Thunder in their previous four games, thus failing to qualify for the competition. Beastcoast vs Alliance (Live at 10:30PM PST) BeastCoast got off to a great start in the event, and they were on their way to the top of the standings. Nonetheless, their previous encounters were not without flaws as they finished fifth in Group B. BeastCoast has failed to win any of their last four games with two draws and two losses. The boys lost a crucial group game to Team Spirit, and they looked dreadful in the game, especially the team's midfield. Nonetheless, the team will now face an easier opponent, allowing them to play, and if BeastCoast does not fill up the drafts, they will win as they appear to be more capable in terms of play than their current opponent. Alliance had one successful DPC season, and that was the team's last. The squad has been scoring poorly in recent months, and it's strange that they were unable to turn things around before The International 10. The boys, on the other hand, had plenty of time. The International 10 Alliance's group stage was badly organized. The team ended last but one spot in Group A with only one win out of eight matches. Even Loda has stated in interviews that the Thunder's failure helped the team into the playoffs. The organization's CEO recognizes that his team is among the poorest in the competition. To be honest, I don't think Alliance will be able to defeat any of the tournament's remaining opponents. It will be a miracle. Evil Geniuses vs Elephant (Live at 11:30PM PST) We'll see Evil Geniuses vs. Elephant for elimination in a highly intriguing and interesting encounter. One of these teams will finish 13-16th. Evil Geniuses notably struggled in the group stage, finishing sixth in group "A" with three wins, three ties, and two losses. Elephant's condition is really no better; with two wins, two draws, and four losses, they were on the verge of being ousted from Group B. This is an unreal match in terms of the sign and names, and it's a shame that some of these players will take 13-16 places. Based on the group stage, the favorites will be Evil Geniuses, but the experience of the Chinese players should affect. Elephant is composed of 5 of the best players with their respective roles, so never count them out as this game is just 1 BO1 series. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! The Dota 2 action during the Main Event is expected to be the greatest in the last two years. As the Main Event kicks off on October 12th, 2021, there could be some heated upper bracket brawls among teams like Team Secret and OG, and perhaps some suspenseful lower bracket games like Evil Geniuses vs Elephant. On October 17th, we will be seeing the creation of history when the grand final takes place and the tenth Dota 2 World Champion is crowned.
  19. Sport: Boxing Champion: Tyson Fury Challenger: Deontay Wilder Date of the match: 10 October, 12:00 PM (GMT+8) The Gypsy King vs The Bronze Bomber by: Barney C Tyson Fury versus Deontay Wilder is a must-see event for heavyweight fans after Anthony Joshua's shocking loss to Oleksandr Usyk two weeks ago turned the heavyweight division upside down even further. In preparation for their third fight, Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder held a savage final press conference. Despite the lack of a decisive showdown, the titans of the industry engaged in a verbal brawl over cheating charges. A player who has dedicated nearly two years of his life solely to revenge can only move up from where he is now. It's evident that Wilder isn't just out to avenge his defeat at the hands of Fury; he also intends to hold him accountable for the numerous accusations of cheating he leveled at him. Tyson Fury aims to repeat history once again this Sunday against Deontay Wilder. Fury romped Wilder early in their last match up, he started out the match fiercely right at the ring of the bell which led to a right hook in the 3rd round that sent Wilder out. In the 7th round, Wilder’s team threw in the towel due to numerous knockdowns. Fury had Wilder all figured out in their rematch, if Wilder focused on defending, Fury wouldn’t be knocked out. He’s looking to do the same in the WBC championship and settle it once and for all. On the other hand, Deontay Wilder is looking to score a point in their trilogy clash after being humiliated by Tyson Fury last February 22, 2021. The Bronze Bomber has the highest knockout percentage in boxing with a whopping 98%. He can finish a fight in a split second with his abnormal strength that has knocked-out 41/43 of his opponents to the canvas. His performance against the Gypsy King, Tyson Fury proved critics that Deontay Wilder is not just a one trick pony and there is more to him than a career-threatening punch. He may not be the most composed boxer out there, but Deontay Wilder’s abnormal strength makes him one hell of a fighter and is looking to make the Gypsy King his 42nd victim to feel his career-threatening punch. Wilder will surely put up a fight against Fury. But Fury has proved time and time again that he is the strongest fighter in the ring. This Trilogy rematch will result in Fury having the Money Line and Bout Betting. Tyson Fury will defend his WBC Heavyweight Title against Deontay Wilder this Sunday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 10, 2021, 12:00 PM (GMT+8).
  20. The Magnolia Hotshots are 2 victories away from advancing to the PBA Philippine Cup championship round, and they believe they have grabbed possession of their best-of-seven semifinal series versus the Meralco Bolts. The Bolts were defeated 92-78 by the Hotshots in the Don Honorio Ventura State University Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga. Magnolia had to come back from a 12-point deficit in the first half with Lee leading a 15-0 run to make it 38-36 at halftime. The Hotshots also took advantage of Meralco's off-night as the Bolts struggled to generate offensive traction, particularly in the second half. The untimely absence of big players Raymond Almazan and Cliff Hodge in the third quarter made things even more difficult for the Bolts. Almazan injured his leg early in the second half while Hodge was removed late in the third quarter for two technical fouls. Lee had 28 points, and Ian Sangalang had 16 for the game. Calvin Abueva scored 11 points in the Hotshots' rout of the Bolts. Meralco's Chris Newsome led the team with 18 points. Magnolia took Game 1 of their best-of-seven series against Meralco, 88-79, to take the lead. Magnolia is now leading 2-0. Will this be a fast series? Or will Meralco Bolts fight back and give its fans hope? On Wednesday, Marcio Lassiter scored the game-winning basket as the San Miguel Beermen defeated the TNT Tropang Giga, 98-96, in Game 2 of their best-of-seven semifinal series in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup. With six seconds left in the game, the ever-reliable guard blasted the layup, tying the game at 96-all and tying the series at 1-1. Terrence Romeo led the way with 26 points, 24 in the second half, and four assists. Lassiter finished with seven points and eight rebounds. RR Pogoy scored 21 points while Poy Erram and youngster Mikey Williams added 21 and 12 points, respectively, in another close game for both teams following an 89-88 win in GAME 1. It has been another close game for both teams in the first game only a deficit of 1 point and on the 2nd game 2 points. We can all see that each team is so talented, for they know what they are doing and how to execute to win. 3rd game will be played later at 6 PM today PST. Let us hope they will give us a heart attack game again!
  21. TI Group Stage Day 1 by: Wilson C We are so happy to announce that Valve has posted its schedule for today's games! Starting off in Series A1 Battling in a best of 2 matches We have 4 games starting at 3 PM PST! #1 EG vs. Aster EG will surely be ahead as they are comfortable in their gaming room, winning most of their scrimmage matchups. On the other hand, Team Aster has yet a lot to prove coming in their first game for The International 10 as this is their first time ever participating in the TI. Team Aster will surely feel the pressure as they will be having a slight problem with communications because the members were found positive for COVID-19. Now, they are isolated in each room, but valve said that they will give them all the equipment needed to be able to continue their matchup for today. #2 Invictus Gaming vs. T1 Coming in The International 10, Invictus Gaming is the 2nd team to be tested positive for COVID-19. They are also isolated in their own rooms and will be given the right equipment so that the match will still be played. Invictus Gaming is also one of the feared teams in China and is the current 3rd best team in China. T1 is a promising team from Southeast Asia and is currently uprising to the Dota industry. The team plays with very aggressive picks but executes it properly. They do not care who their opponents are as long as they pick their comfortable heroes. This match will be crazy, and we cannot say who is ahead as both teams are equal! #3 Virtus Pro vs. Team Undying Virtus Pro is on fire if you are watching their past games as they sit on #3 in Dota Pro Circuit. They have many young talents like GPK who is now Europe's #1 player in Dota 2 Leaderboards. There are indeed so many potentials in Virtus Pro, but let us hope that they will not choke like what happens every TI for the past 3 years for Virtus Pro. Team Undying, on the other hand, are also well-prepared coming in for TI10. But we hope that their cockiness will not get the better of them. We hope that they will change their mindset and their gameplay coming in TI10 as this opportunity is very hard to get. Virtus Pro will surely be ahead and can stomp them easily, but if Team Undying is focused and their strategies are well-executed, we cannot say what will happen as this is TI10. Anything can happen! #4 OG vs. Alliance SumaiL vs. Nikobaby OG ranks #35 in DPC points. From this, we can all say that they are struggling with their lineup. But all it takes for them to qualify for TI10 was to defeat Nymga in lower bracket finals (2-1) and Tundra Esports (3-2). They have not shown us the gameplay that they used to execute like when they were playing for TI8 and TI9. The back-to-back champions always have a Cinderella story. First, they struggle and lose easy matchups that they should have won, but when the momentum is theirs, nothing can stop them. On the other hand, Alliance is Sweden's best team. They have come so far just to be placed 13-16th like in TI9. Nikobaby will be very prepared, and we hope that he can show us who the boss is in the Carry role. He is like a shark who is hungry for food, hungry for kills. Among the 4 matchups in Series A1, this will be the most EXCITING MATCH. Series B1 Battling in a best of 2 matches We have 4 games starting at 5 PM PST! #1 Team Secret vs. Team Spirit Team Secret has been quiet for the past TI's finishing 4th place in TI9 when they were hoping to lift the Aegis. Their recent performance in the 2021 tournaments is not that great, not for TI performance. But teams do make mistakes. Let us hope Team Secret will play out their best in TI10, and Puppey can finally be a 2-time champion as he is the only player left who attended from TI1 up to TI10. Team Spirit, on the other hand, is a very young team with a very much raw potential. Yatoro, for example, is an excellent carry when supported properly on his lanes. He can turn around team fights and can comeback even when they far behind. This game will matter in the executions and the gameplay of their support. Which team can protect their cores and in the same time attack and disrupt the opponent’s cores? #2 PSG.LGD vs. Quincy Crew PSG.LGD is the favorite in the tournament to win. They are the current best team in the world and have the highest chance of becoming TI10 champions with 18.86% probability. They will surely show us a dominant gameplay all throughout the TI10. Better watch out for PSG.LGD. Quincy Crew is a typical team. The way they play can sometimes be very good or very bad. They are not consistent when playing with the other big teams, and sadly for the QC fans, their first matchup is against the Chinese Titans. Let us just hope QC can adjust their gameplay to PSG.LGD's level. PSG.LGD will surely be ahead in terms of, oh wait, EVERYTHING. #3 Elephant vs. Beastcoast We all thought that Elephant will be the #1 team in China because of their 5 superstars that Elephant recruited. This team really has a lot of potential, but they do not have the right strategy and mindset to execute it properly. They almost did not qualify in the China Regional Qualifiers and were lucky that in the Grand Finals Ehome made many mistakes. We hope to see Elephant play with their best because it will really be fun to watch them explore new strategies. Beastcoast, on the other hand, is still quite struggling with their hero choices. They have no definite hero pools to play with and no backup hero pools in case their heroes get banned. They all rely on k1 to farm efficiently and hopefully that he can carry the team. That kind of system is good when you are playing against tier 2 to tier 3 teams, but when it comes to tier 1 teams, you better give your best shot. Elephant will surely be ahead, and this game will be a stomp. But if k1 can pick his comfortable heroes and has the space to farm, then things will be different! #4 Vici Gaming vs. Fnatic Of all the 4 games in Series B1, this game is the most balance. Vici Gaming and Fnatic have been great in the past few tournaments. Both teams have the same kind of aggressive strategy, so they will surely show us a good matchup. It will just be depending on which teams can execute it faster with the right timings of their items and in the right situations. Both teams will mostly be clashing with each other, and we can say that they may tie this series of bo2. We will update this post later for the next series of games. Please keep posted!
  22. Cloud9 vs Beyond Gaming C9: Top - Fudge Jungle - Blaber Mid - Perkz Bot - Zven Support - Vulcan Beyond Gaming: Top - Liang Jungle - Husha Mid - Husky/Maoan Bot - Doggo Support - TNS The Ultimate Dark Horse vs Uncrowned Kings by: Barney Cruz Worlds are less than a week away, and the groups for the play-ins have been confirmed. Apart from the usual favorites Hanwha Life Esports, LNG Esports, and Cloud9, there is another emerging competitor: Beyond Gaming. The PCS's second seed will play in Group B, and their prospects of advancing are quite good. Let us begin by discussing Beyond Gaming (BYG). Following a strong spring, BYG fell behind PSG Talon once again in the summer. This time, though, they were forced to fight harder: a tiebreaker against Machi Esports earned them second place. Despite their inferior record, their playoff run was decisive. Not only because of Doggo, but also because other players improved their game. While the squad is required to compete in the play-in rounds, they were able to avoid both HLE and LNG in their group. In general, this is a better situation, as the only actual danger is Cloud9. They possess the capability and ability to challenge C9, and it will be fascinating to see how these two teams do against one another. On the other hand, Cloud 9 (C9) must compete in play-ins to secure a spot in the group stage. At this stage of the competition, the meta is frequently shaped, thus it's beneficial for the squad to play the first official games on the next tournament patch. They automatically qualify for the main tournament group stage if they finish first in their play-in group. Beyond Gaming and Cloud9 will battle it out for first place in group B. Winning versus the PCS would almost certainly assure them of the group's top ranking (barring major upsets of course). Cloud9 has an extremely talented roster to take on each team they’ll face. One of the biggest playmakers in the team is Ibrahim ‘Fudge’ Allami. Since joining Cloud9, he has been destroying each matchup he has on the top lane through sheer laning power alone. And if we’re talking about buffs to Cloud9, we can’t leave Perkz out of the conversation. Luka ‘Perkz’ Perković a top-tier mid laner that made it to the finals and semifinals of Worlds. Perkz has never come up short when it comes to the big stage, he’s shown how strong and unbothered he can be even when up against the big names like RNG in Worlds 2018 while playing Leblanc and against SKT in Worlds 2019 while playing Yasuo. Perkz is the backbone of the success of Cloud9, even when down 0-2 is when he pops off the most, the Perkz Comfort Zone. We’ll surely expect Perkz to put up an outstanding play against Beyond Gaming this Tuesday. On the other hand, Beyond Gaming or BYG is a team that heavily relies on their ADC, Chiu “Doggo” Tzu-Chuan. Ever since joining BYG, Doggo fitted in and was able to showcase strong performances as BYG is a team who likes to funnel their resources into their ADC. Last August 27, BYG finished behind PSG Talon again, after losing in the finals against PSG 2-3, BYG showed huge potential as Mid Laner Chien “Maoan” Mao-An and Jungler Huang “HuSha” Zi-Wei had incredible performances and surprised everyone as many people were sleeping on them. Husha’s Xin Zhao and Viego matches well in today's meta because of his aggressive play style and strong mechanics. Cloud9 is one of the favorites to win the whole play-ins but because of Beyond Gaming’s young roster, they are undoubtedly the biggest dark horse of the whole play-ins. This matchup should result in Cloud9 as the match winner with Perkz on their side. Beyond Gaming has the required skills and talent to face a Tier 1 team like Cloud9, will they upset the NA Powerhouse Cloud9 or will the pressure get to them leading to their own fall? Cloud9 vs Beyond Gaming will face off this October 6, 11:00 pm (GMT +8).
  23. Southeast Asia Region Fnatic T1 Fnatic Fnatic appeared to be the greatest team in Southeast Asia during the first half of 2020, winning the last LAN event before the epidemic – The Summit 12 – and then four straight online tournament wins in the months that followed. Later in the year, though, they began to lose crucial players 23savage and iceiceice, and their future began to appear bleak. Winning their first regional DPC league, Fnatic started the year strong, but they were the first team ousted from the playoffs at the Singapore Major after losing two straight matches on the main stage. The team's humiliating performance necessitated a squad change which perhaps backfired when they failed to qualify for the AniMajor, finishing fourth in their second DPC league. Another frantic personnel change was made in a last-ditch attempt to qualify for The International, a last-minute bet that paid off spectacularly when Fnatic reverse-swept TNC Predator in the BO5 qualifying final, punching their ticket to the year's largest event. Both ChYuan and Deth have only been with the squad since April and June, respectively, but the postponement of TI10 until October may have been a gift in disguise for them because it has given these newer players more time to bond with their colleagues. DJ has appeared like one of the game's best playmakers at various points over his long career, but he now takes on the position of hard support in order to focus on captaining and offer Jabz – another extraordinarily gifted support player – more farm time. When you add Raven, who holds the record for most kills in a single game at a Valve tournament, to the carry position, you've got a list of names that seems quite respectable on paper. They looked reasonably competent in their single event against foreign competition this summer albeit they finished a disappointing 5-6th place, with their only series win coming against Thunder Predator. Only PSG and Fnatic have attended every single International since 2013. LGD may brag as well although this illustrious organization has always underperformed at TI. The team and their fans will undoubtedly hope that this year is an exception, but they appear to be on track for another early exit at the moment. However, if they prove my prediction incorrect, they will undoubtedly be an exciting squad to watch. T1 Despite T1's and other Korean organizations' domination in League of Legends, the Korean overlords have been mainly missing from Dota 2, with the exception of MVP Phoenix's brief success in 2015/16. T1 started a Dota squad in late 2019 but had limited success at first, so they have been moving players around and polishing their lineup ever since. T1 appears to have finally found a winning formula despite the fact that all five of its current players are new to the organization, with none having spent more than a year with the squad. T1 finished third in the first South-East Asian regional DPC competition, qualifying for the Singapore Major wild cards. Unfortunately, Kuku was unable to attend the competition, and the squad was unable to compete without their captain. Following their loss in Singapore, T1 completed their current lineup by swapping out their former carry JaCkky for 23savage, who had just been released from his Vici Gaming contract. The Thai adolescent has shown to be one of the most remarkable developing talents in the world right now, and T1's decision to hire him was a pivotal moment for the company. With their new carry the team finished 1st in their second regional league, and then showed a tour de force performance at the AniMajor – earning a convincing 3rd place finish and with that placement securing their TI10 direct invite. T1 followed this strong result with a notable win at ESL One Summer against a stacked international field of competition, but admittedly looked somewhat less impressive at two more recent tournaments, in which they finished only 4th place at both. One has to wonder if this will be another case of an upstart SEA team peaking too early in the year as TNC did before TI9 and Mineski did the year before. In fact, since TI6, South-East Asia has not had a single team to reach the top eight at an International which is hardly the best omen for T1's chances. Kuku, on the other hand, stands out as possibly the most capable SEA captain in a region known for its scarcity of experienced leadership. DJ is the only other player from the region who can still say he has been to every International since 2016. Apart from their coach, March, T1's present squad has no Koreans, but Kuku's leadership may be enough for them to avenge South-East Asia's prior early exits and for these honorary Koreans to begin their own overlordship.
  24. China Region PSG.LGD Vici Gaming Team Aster Elephant Invictus gaming PSG.LGD LGD is the favorite team here to win the TI10. It is becoming increasingly difficult to claim that anyone else is more deserving of the #1 slot right now. Many had low expectations for the new PSG.LGD after months of dismal results following TI9, and then key players Somnus and fy quitting the squad to create Elephant last summer. Their subsequent efforts, on the other hand, have been nothing short of outstanding, with them finishing in the top four at every tournament they have entered. They finished third in the Singapore Major and then won the AniMajor after crushing EG 3-0 in the grand finale, finishing second on the DPC table. PSG actually benched Ame for several months. LGD was one of numerous swaps used by the company during a period of poor performance in early 2020. It is quite the storyline that he will be attending TI10 on a prominent favorite team while some of his old teammates who left him behind have not even qualified. Ame has consistently looked like one of the top three carries in the world for the previous few years, and he appears to be the best right now this season. XinQ, a long-time rising support star who has now entered his prime, and TI6 champions y and Faith bian, the banished princes of Chinese Dota who have finally returned to prominence after a long exile in relative obscurity, are among Ame's new companions. Faith bian's offlane talent, as well as captain y's notoriously erratic drafting, helped the former Wings Gaming combo win TI6 as young adolescents. Now, on PSG.LGD, Xiao8 – TI4 champion and perhaps the greatest Dota tactician China has ever produced – is mentoring him, adding to his already immense strategic genius. NothingToSay, the world record holder for the highest MMR ever obtained, completes the new lineup. PSG. LGD looked absolutely world-class even without NTS while Xiao8 temporarily filled in for him recently, and with their midlane maestro now reunited with the rest of the squad, they have a lot riding on their shoulders. Many teams have fallen in the face of the TI-favorite curse in the past, but this powerhouse squad instills hope that PSG.LGD will finally be able to claim their long-awaited Aegis this year. Can LGD end OG's back-to-back TI Win? Vici Gaming Surprisingly, VG has not won a single tournament since 2019, and unlike the five teams listed above them on our list, it appears doubtful that they will be raising the Aegis at TI10. However, it also appears implausible that they will go early, given they have been a consistently high-performing squad that rarely suffers upsets. They finished 3rd in both Chinese regional leagues this year, went 7-8th at the Singapore Major, and finished a strong 4th at the AniMajor. This summer they have also been the runner-up in two Chinese domestic tournaments, indicating that they are not showing any signs of dropping their current impressive form Their consistent results are a result of their consistent play. Ori, the midlaner, and Dy, the hard support, are practically one club men, having spent nearly their entire careers with VG and so always seeming to know exactly what their team requires of them in any given game. old eLeVeN is now one of China's most experienced offlaners, with years of LAN experience gained as a member of many high-performing teams, and post-TI9 acquisition Pyw has looked like the team's MVP for the majority of the last two years. Despite being regarded as VG's weak link, poyoyo has steadily developed into a reliable late-game force over his time with the squad. At least in part, his progress can be attributed to VG's great new coaches, Fenrir and QQQ. Both had exceptional playing records at The International, with three top-six finishes and a grand finals appearance between them. While Fenrir is making his coaching debut, QQQ was the driving force behind LGD's dominance from TI7-9, and was also VG's coach when they finished second at TI4. Vici Gaming should be on track for another good finish at this year's International with such smart minds and their cocky strategies. Team Aster Failing to qualify for TI9 and never making the top eight at any of the Majors they have competed in, Team Aster has never had much success at major events. Aster has been plagued by squad changes since its beginning due to the team's failure to live up to the high expectations of its demanding fanbase. They appear to have found a successful formula now however, following the acquisition of LaNm back in November last year. Their new captain is one of the most experienced players in the game, having spent the majority of Dota 2's existence in China as one of the top players. LaNm came in second place at the inaugural International in 2011, and he and Puppey are the only two players from that tournament to have qualified for TI10. His illustrious career has featured appearances at nine Internationals (all but TI7), a feat only KuroKy, iceiceice, and, of course, Puppey have achieved. LaNm recently lead Royal Never Give Up to a surprising 7th-8th place finish at The International 9, thanks in large part to Monet's outstanding contributions for the squad. Monet has been one of the more underrated Chinese carry in recent years, despite coming third at TI7 in his International debut, yet no one can disagree that he appears to be at his best when playing in combination with LaNm. Long-time colleagues Xxs and Borax, who have already played the second most games together of any pair in Dota 2, and whose ease familiarity with one another's style of play is obvious from their well-synchronized laning in the offlane together, are also featured on Aster. White Album, the team's midlaner, is still a relative newcomer to top-level competition, and as such is frequently viewed as a weak link; nevertheless, Aster's strong sidelanes usually compensate for any deficit in the midlane. Elephant PSG.LGD and Vici Gaming reigned supreme as China's finest teams, and by extension, two of the best in the world, for nearly two years. Then, this summer, rumors began to circulate that two of each team's finest players would be teaming up to form a new super-squad. Given the stellar service records of the fan-favorite athletes involved, the excitement surrounding this new all-star team was palpable. Elephant, like so many other similar ventures that aim to bring together the best individual talents, has so far fallen short of expectations as a whole. They got off to a fast start, coming second in their first tournament and then won two consecutive online events to end the year. Despite their great start, they were unable to maintain their position in the Chinese DPC leagues this year, finishing fifth in both and therefore missing out on either of the Majors. Elephant made a roster change as a result of the poor results, dropping RedPanda — the team's only relative unknown – and replacing him with Super as their new hard support. This decision paid off immediately, as the strengthened roster won the second Chinese TI qualifier, clinching their spot at TI10. Elephant's players have all competed in The International before, and they have all had outstanding results. Along with Puppey and KuroKy, Super, Somnus, and fy are three of only five players to have finished in the top four on four separate occasions, and all three have previously reached the grand finals. While Eurus and Yang do not have the same TI history as their more experienced teammates, they are both two-time major champions, an accomplishment that would easily be the highlight of most other teams. Elephant's absence from this year's majors can be partially excused when one considers that the other Chinese teams who gatekept them went on to win both competitions. Even if they are only China's fifth best team, they are likely better than most of the international opponents they will currently face. Given these players' remarkable recent accomplishments, particularly at The International, it is difficult not to have high hopes for them at TI10. Somnus and fy are two of the best players in the game's history, and being part of such an incredibly skilled team, it would be a dream come true to get to see them eventually win the most prestigious title of them all. Invictus Gaming With the addition of TI7 silver medalist Kaka, the current generation of iG was completed in late 2019. With his arrival, the squad rapidly made a name for itself, placing third and then fifth and sixth at the Chengdu and Leipzig Majors, respectively. They had a relatively quiet pandemic season last year, but with the reintroduction of DPC events this year, they have risen to new heights, finishing first in the Chinese regional league and then winning the Singapore Major in a stunning 3-2 reverse sweep over Evil Geniuses. They have been less successful in the second half of the DPC, but this appears to be due to iG relaxing after having already secured their TI qualification rather than the squad truly falling down. To their credit, their unexpected early exit from the AniMajor was due to a BO1 tie-breaker loss in the wild card stage where the surviving Vici Gaming and Team Nigma both finished in the top six. Not to mention the fact that they were forced to play with their coach as a stand-in after Oli contracted Covid-19 as a result of their tireless support. We have seen iG play seriously and with their entire roster, and they have looked fantastic. Many of their players had not previously been highly rated as individuals, but when they are combined in this lineup, the squad appears to be far greater than the sum of its parts. Perhaps the only exception is Emo, the team's youngest player and a tremendous talent who appears to be on his way to becoming China's top midlaner right now. With such a well-coordinated team surrounding their talismanic young star, iG have demonstrated that they are capable of defeating the world's finest teams. iG, on the other hand, has a losing record versus all of the other Chinese teams competing at TI10 — with the exception of Elephant (still only 11-9 in their favour). And, with so many of their regional opponents looking like they will go all the way in the competition, iG could find themselves dropping important series to their compatriots. Also, Kaka is the only member of the team who has already participated at an International, and even their Major experience may not be enough to prepare them for the TI mainstage which is a totally other beast. We can say that Invictus Gaming will give us a heck of a fight.
  25. European Region Virtus Pro Team Secret Alliance OG Team Spirit Virtus Pro Winning major trophy after major trophy, Virtus Pro managed to stay at the top of the competitive scene for the longest time of any team in Dota 2 history. The Aegis, on the other hand, always seemed to elude them, with the squad failing to turn a great season into a TI victory year after year. Following their largest setback at TI9, the Bears' nearly three-year-old team was disbanded, and the Cubs have taken their place, with the Russian organization deciding to promote their young squad and start over. With an average age of only 19, this is one of the youngest teams in the league right now, but these youngsters have so far proven to be worthy successors to the huge names they had to live up to. Every single member of the new lineup has shown exceptional individual mechanical ability, with midlaner gpk standing out as one of the most promising newcomers at the moment. Winning both of their regional DPC competitions with a combined 28-3 win/loss record, VP has been without a doubt the greatest Eastern European team this season. Despite their outstanding success in their own region, they struggled at both majors, finishing 7-8th in Singapore and barely 9th-12th at the AniMajor. Fortunately, the DPC points earned through their league victories were more than enough to send them over the finish line for a TI direct invite as they finished third overall behind only Evil Geniuses and PSG. LGD. In their two appearances since the AniMajor, the VP have placed second and third, respectively, against tough international competition. However, because these victories came in online events, doubts about their failure to compete on LAN remain despite these impressive achievements. No one can disagree that a top-performing VP poses a threat to even the most elite teams, but we have yet to see them perform at their best at an in-person event. Expect huge things from these boys if they choose TI10 as their first time to do so. Team Secret Secret kicked off 2020 with a statement triumph at the Leipzig Major, and they went on to win eight straight online tournaments in dominating 3-0 grand final whitewashes during the months that followed. They appeared less unstoppable in 2021, but by winning the first Western European regional league and placing fourth at the Singapore Major, they collected enough DPC points early on to practically guarantee their direct invitation to TI10. Puppey and the guys are maybe the most difficult squad to predict going into this year's International. Secret had previously dominated the 2018/19 season, rising to the top of the DPC standings and establishing themselves as the overwhelming favorite to win TI9. They later parted ways with their long-serving midlaner MidOne, shuffled Nisha to the midlane, and recruited TI7 champion MATUMBAMAN as their new carry after ending in a tantalizing 4th place. They also replaced SunBhie as coach with Heen, a well-known strategist who previously guided MATU and Team Liquid to TI7 victories. Puppey is perhaps the most accomplished player in the game's history, and his unwavering leadership leads a team in which it is tough to pick a single greatest player. YapzOr embodies a gift for highlight compilation makers everywhere with his consistent game-winning support plays. Zai brings a level of hero and playstyle versatility unmatched by any other offlaner, and Nisha's clinical dismantling of his midlane opponents earned him the prestigious award of PC Player of the Year in 2020. After years of having to play second fiddle to Miracle- on Liquid, MATUMBAMAN resurfaces on Secret. He was thrown off the team before TI9, and they finished second without him, but with KuroKy and his other old teammates failing to qualify this year, TI10 could be MATU's redemption narrative. To add to the story, Puppey is currently the only player alive who has competed in every International, and a second TI victory after a decade could be enough to seal his place as the best of all time. Secret will indeed be a tough team to beat. Alliance Alliance is perhaps one of the most variable teams out there right now who is capable of looking top tier one day and frustratingly poor the next. As a result, it is difficult to rate them because they could finish last in their group or finish in the top eight. Following TI9, Team Liquid stole the whole Swedish team, yet they were able to assemble a fresh group capable of reaching The International – however whether they will be able to stay in the competition longer than their predecessors did in Shanghai remains to be seen. Both Handsken and Limmp are skilled players, with the latter being particularly well-known for his early laning-phase skills. Despite their years of Dota 2 experience, this is both of their first TI appearances, with their previous closest attempt ending in the TI6 wild card play-in stage. Fng is another journeyman player who has tried and failed to captain numerous Eastern European squads to The International over the years, but now that he has joined the Swedes, he will be able to return to the tournament for the first time since TI5. Nikobaby, who plays his carry role like a shark, continually sniffing for hints of weakness and delivering devastating killing blows when the moment is right, is without a doubt Alliance's best player. The team's other notable name, TI3 champion s4, guides this deadly instinct. After extended stints on both OG and Evil Geniuses, the "Son of Magnus" is the final active member of Alliance's 2013 Aegis-winning squad, and he made his warmly-welcomed return to the organization. S4 leads the team from the off-lane position, bringing almost a decade of experience at the highest level of Dota 2, and his in-game shot calling is evident in the team's excellent late game maneuvers. With Alliance, it is best to expect the unexpected! OG For the past two Internationals in a row, experts, including this author, have misjudged OG. However, after completing remarkable back-to-back TI victories, perhaps we should just start operating under the assumption that anytime the Aegis is on the line, this team always appears to be in peak form. Despite a failed DPC season this year with slightly varied rosters, their recently revitalized lineup emerged as the single victorious survivor from the bloodbath of the Western European TI qualifier — undoubtedly the most difficult of the six regionals. SumaiL has been mostly missing from competition since his post-TI9 benching by Evil Geniuses due to excessively high ping preventing the US-based player from continuing to compete in European events with OG throughout the online season of 2020. His imposing performances as a stand-in for Team Liquid earlier this year, and since rejoining OG at the carry position, imply that the self-proclaimed "King" of Dota 2 has not lost his lethal edge. Saksa, possibly the least decorated member of this all-star team on paper, has consistently delivered MVP performances for OG over the previous year with his disruptive support play. Individual brilliance is more than matched by OG's superb team chemistry and next-level strategic comprehension of the game, making them an opponent most would want to avoid on the major stage. Despite their poor performance this season, we should expect the other teams to not be caught off guard by OG again this time. All eyes will be on the defending champions, and every team will be planning methods to counter them, but if any team can win despite this intense scrutiny, it's OG. Can they lift the Aegis back-to-back to back? Team Spirit Apart from periodic roster shuffle changes, Team Spirit has long been one of those many average Eastern European organizations about which you seldom hear anything. Spirit's biggest claim to fame has been as the squad on which Russian carry prodigy RAMZES666 made his first appearance on a major stage, but its talent scouts appear to have struck gold once more this season. While most people's attention has been drawn to Virtus.pro and their new roster, Spirit has quietly ascended to the top of the Eastern European scene. Thanks to newly discovered teenage talent. Aside from their captain Miposhka, the rest of the team is relatively new to professional Dota, but each of their young players has already demonstrated the potential to become one of their region's next stars. Spirit came in fourth place in their debut regional DPC league, just missing out on a spot in the Singapore Major due to a tie-breaker loss against ASM.Gambit. However, they avenged themselves a few months later in the second league where they finished second after a dominant performance in which they only lost to an unbeatable VP. This performance qualified them for the AniMajor where Spirit struggled in the group stage but survived elimination following a tie-breaker victory over Team Liquid. Spirit then defeated Alliance in the lower bracket, but they were quickly defeated by Vici Gaming in the next round, finishing in seventh or eighth place. As a result, Spirit fell to 14th place on the DPC leaderboard, missing out on a straight invitation to The International. Fortunately for them, their primary competitors Natus Vincere and ASM.Gambit both appeared to implode in the regional qualification, and Spirit was able to clinch a spot at TI10 in the end. In the few appearances they have made since then, they have maintained their strong form, even finishing second to just PSG. LGD won the DotaPIT Invitational recently. This impressive performance, on the other hand, may come back to haunt Spirit as their appearance in the penultimate grand final before TI10 would almost surely have drawn undesired attention from opponents who may have previously disregarded this youthful squad. Expectations for Team Spirit at TI10 are obviously dampened, with all but one of the team's members making their International debuts in Bucharest; however, only a fool would write them off altogether. Miposhka was on hand for Team Empire's epic victory over Evil Geniuses at TI7, and his new squad is sure to surprise anyone who underestimates them.
