After November 7’s draw, it’s Leicester City (12th in the Premier League) against Leeds United (16th) once again. This Premier League fixture is going to be held at the King Power Stadium, in the home ground of Leicester, 8:30 PM (PST) this Saturday, March 5, 2022.

As of late, Leeds have been in quite the bind as they’ve had to let go of their manager, Marcelo Bielsa, one of the higher-profile coaches in the game, mid-season. Bielsa may or may not have lost his edge as he failed to secure Leeds’ standing in the league. Standing two places above the relegation cut-off, Leeds United doesn’t seem like the winner it used to be. Does this mean it’s going to be an easy win for Leicester City? Here’s what we think.

As the Leeds play as the away team, they’re at a sizeable disadvantage. Leicester is playing at a decent rate, being 12th out of 20 teams. With an 8-6-10 record and 30 points, Leicester is playing better when put side-by-side to Leeds’ 5-8-13 garnering 23 points. Running on a 2-win streak, Leicester seems to be getting their rhythm back, so is Leeds ready to tango? Alternatively, Leeds is on a 4-loss streak, most recently losing to the Tottenham Hotspurs. Things don’t seem to be going any easier for Leeds United.

As far as numbers, performance, and luck is concerned, Leicester is more likely to have the upper hand this Saturday. Leicester City is showing improvement and a gain of momentum whereas Leeds United is clearly not in any good condition. All this coupled with Leeds’ poor defense, goals will be flooding in, too, and not in their favor. We just wish Leeds United luck at this point and hope for a good game.
