It’s home for Houston as this match is to take place this February 3, 2022, at the Toyota Center, in Houston, Texas. Catch the game live at 9 AM PST, it’s the Cleveland Cavaliers versus Houston Rockets.

Two of the most well-known teams in the NBA are taking the court this Thursday, it’s no doubt that both teams have earned their reputation, so let’s talk weakness. The weakness of the Cleveland Cavaliers is that they don’t have a backup point guard. Coach Ty Lue himself says that they can’t just throw in a player to play point guard because it takes a learning curve, and he isn’t wrong! The Rockets, in contrast, are lacking in the defense department. So much so that their defense has what’s been keeping them from going further up the board.

The Cavaliers are currently 4th in the Eastern Conference and the Houston Rockets are 15th in the Western sphere with 31-20 and 14-36 respectively. This match seems like an easy win for the Cavaliers, but unfortunately for the Cavs (or at least, fortunately, to make the game interesting), Cavs’ Darius Garland may potentially miss the match as he is categorized day-to-day. Garland is a season leader and key playmaker for the Cavs, especially in terms of points and assists. This, in turn, gives Houston a chance to get themselves together and dominate the opposition. At least things will become interesting for the viewers!

When push comes to shove, it seems the Cavaliers will still school the Rockets in this match. There’s still a relevant discrepancy between the team and player stats of the two, which ultimately favor the Cavaliers. Hopefully, the game will still remain interesting throughout its duration with Garland out.

Thursday, February 3, 2022. 9 AM PST. Toyota Center, Houston, TX.
