Catch it this Tuesday, February 1, at 8:30 AM. Reds against the Greens, it’s two of the most well-known teams in the NBA. Heat is hailed as the sixth-best team in the league, coming from the NBA itself. The Miami team is also presently standing on top of the Eastern Conference at number 1 with a 32-17 record. The Celtics, on the other hand, won 11 of the 13 NBA championships from 1957 to 1969. Currently at 8th with 25-25, many would guess it’s an easy game favoring Miami, but we think it’s a fair game maybe even with Boston coming out on top. If we point to the season averages, it’s neck and neck between the two teams. Miami has garnered 108.9 points, 44.5 rebounds, 25.8 assists, 7.3 steals, 3.3 blocks, 13.9 turnovers, 46.1 FG%, 37.8 3P%, 81.3 FP%, 42 points in the paint, 13.9 2nd chance points, and 10.6 fastbreak points. Boston has accumulated 107.7 points, 46.3 rebounds, 22.9 assists, 7.3 steals, 5.8 blocks, 13.6 turnovers, 44.6 FG%, 34 3P%, 82.2 FT%, 44 points in the paint, 12.7 2nd chance points, and 9.7 fastbreak points. Turning to the top players, Boston has Jayson Tatum, Robert Williams III, and Marcus Smart. Miami has Tyler Herro, Dewayne Dedmon, Kyle Lowry, and Caleb Martin. Jayson Tatum surpasses Tyler Herro for average points accumulated as he boasts 26.2 points in comparison to Herro’s 20.3. Celtics also surpasses Heat in rebounds with Robert Williams III’s 9.6 against Dewayne Dedmon’s 6.3. Through assists, Heat recovers with Kyle Lowry with 8.3 against Marcus Smart’s 5.4. Lastly, Robert Williams III comes in again with a towering 2.1 blocks against Caleb Martin’s 0.53. We’re torn about this one, folks, it’s almost a 50-50 game in our eyes. Ultimately, regardless of how close the numbers get, we’ve settled on the winner. Underdog Boston Celtics will be taking this home. With three players out for Heat, and one of them being key player Kyle Lowry, it will cause pressure within the team. Boston will also most likely aim to humble Miami once again as they did last November 5, 2022. Playing at home, Boston needs the boost to prove that they’re still up there and they’re playing to win. Still, we might be wrong. Only 8:30 AM this Tuesday, February 1, 2022, will we find out the true victor. Catch it live at the one and only TD Arena.
