This Sunday, 9:30 AM, at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California, the likes of Durant, Harden, Curry, and Green will be facing off to establish their valor. With teams of such high caliber, is it even possible to wage on a winner? With Brooklyn losing three games in a row, they’d be desperate to win this one, but the Warriors are just as hungry to make this game their 4th winning streak. Playmakers It’s Nets’ Kevin Durant versus Warriors’ Stephen Curry as the point leaders for each team this season. Though Durant is averaging slightly higher than fan-favorite Stephen Curry in points per game and field goal percentage, let’s not pretend like Curry isn’t one of the NBA’s golden boys of the decade. Curry outdoes Durant with his free throw percentage though! For rebounds and assists, it’s a struggle between the Nets’ James Harden and Warriors’ Draymond Green. Harden beats Green with the numbers, and Durant does the same to Curry, here’s where it gets interesting; Injuries and Absences Key player Harden is going day-to-day due to a hamstring injury that consequently cost his participation in the Nets-Nuggets game. Apart from this, there’s rumored drama regarding Nets’ Kyrie Irving as he refuses to get vaccinated and is therefore unable to play. Kyrie Irving would’ve been a great asset if he was part of the roster, especially with his chemistry with Durant and Harden. Brooklyn’s Day’Ron Sharpe is also going day-to-day, while Joe Harris is out. Nets are at a pertinent disadvantage if Harden fails to get in shape before this match, the Warrior’s are the Western’s current 2nd placer for a reason. The Warriors, on the other hand, only have Andra Iguodala out for the game. This Brooklyn Nets vs. Golden State Warriors game will be an interesting feat to watch out for, it’s still anybody’s game. To conclude, we see the Warriors winning this game with a sizeable margin. The Warriors aren’t undergoing as much frustration as the Nets, they’re not in a pressurizing position unlike the Nets who are already in a lose streak of three, and they’ve just been completely killing it this season. Not to mention, Stephen Curry is very much alive and well for the game. Regardless, there will be an exciting amount of action for this game for every fan to witness.
