This week, one of the most important competition tournaments in CS:GO begins, pitting the greatest teams in the world against each other. The Spring Groups will kick off the 2022 BLAST Premier Season this Friday, January 28, 2022. Moreover, all games are best of one and take place online. G2 Esports will take on Complexity in the first match at 10PM.  

  

G2 Esports shows up in the contest after introducing significant adjustments to its lineup for 2022. In this game, we will see the debut of Russian legend Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov for the G2 Esports squad, the fresh-faced player of only 16 years who turned up to be an expert sniper, he has already shown the possibilities to encounter the best players in the world, in his previous team (Natus Vincere Junior), he was presented in essentially every game, always with amazing playing ability. The experienced Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, who arrived as the squad's IGL (game in leader), is also playing his first game for the team. 

  

CompLexity Gaming, on the other side, has joined the arena after implementing changes to its roster for the 2022 season. This year, the North American team made its first appearance with its new players at the Funspark ULTI 2021 Finals, which took place on the 18th. The 24th of January is a special day. The team finished last in the tournament, however contrary to popular belief, the team was thrilled to have defeated a map created by Gambit Esports, the world's current second-best team. Michael "Grim" Wince and Paytyn "junior" Johnson, both veterans, have recently joined the lineup. 

  

The premiere of two excellent players playing for G2 Esports, together with the skills of the third greatest player of all time, Nikola "NiKo" Kovac, and coupled with Nemanja "huNter-" Kovac's good entry in the opponent bombs, gives the Europeans an advantage in this clash.
