DPC China Division 1 - PSG.LGD vs Team Aster | Jan 3, 4PM

New year, fresh starts, renewed strength, and enthusiasm. PSG.LGD and Team Aster will compete in Division 1 of the DPC CHINA 2021-22 Tour today, January 3 at 4PM in the hopes of being named victors. The top-placed team will get US$ 30,000 and 690 Pro-Circuit points. 

 

The successful team will also go to the Major Playoffs, while the second-placed team will advance to the Major Group Stage. While not ranking in the final two isn't exactly the final destination — third and fourth seeded teams earn a Major Wild Card – it's not a path they'll certainly want to travel. 

 

PSG.LGD and Aster both defend effectively, according to the statistics. PSG.LGD has a death rate of 22.58, which is significantly better than Aster's 22.32. However, a strong defense is only one piece of the puzzle. 

  

PSG.LGD's recent success has been founded on a tough defense that may be tough to crack down, especially in early and mid-game. When the action gets up in the final minutes of the game, you can observe a faster switch to offense in order to score objective points.
