UEFA Champions League presents Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) against Club Brugge (BRU) for Matchweek 6. On Tuesday 8th of December 2021 01:45 AM PHT, French giants are hosting this match at Parc des Princes, Paris, FR. Read on for in-game predictions and betting tips for your prospect team!

This is a match of the second against the fourth under UCL Group A. PSG performed disappointingly against Manchester City last Matchday 5 with a 2-1 defeat. This guarantees the club a spot at second but, failed to further secure the chance to finish on top of this year’s league. Now, PSG contends to determine whether fourth seed BRU can still secure a place for the knockout rounds of the upcoming Europa League. BRU and RB Leipzig are at a draw on fourth after the team received a nil-to-five defeat against RBL. Will BRU continue their European campaign?

PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino has some absentees from his team for this match continuing with Neymar (F) recovering from his ankle injury against Saint-Etienne. The striker is possibly out until the start of next year. This leaves the offense between Messi (RW), Mbappe (LW), and Icardi (ST) with the possible starting line-up headed by last match’s goal scorer Wijnaldum (CM). Wijnaldum snatched a 1-1 goal against RC Lens granting a disappointing but saving attempt to leave PSG at a draw on their recent match.

PSG may be on unstable ground in terms of winning and player management but, BRU is not any more fortunate with a current 3-game losing streak leaving them at the bottom of Group A. BRU manager Philippe Clement is not worried about any injuries on his men but, a better gameplay management is expected. Simon Mignolet (GK) has been receiving criticism for his disappointing streak of goalkeeping. Not much can even further be said from the team’s offense and defense that has been consistently relented.

Both teams met at the opening match of the Champions League last September that ended in a 1-1 draw. But after three months of unsteady campaign and with BRU visiting PSG at their home turf, the team should rally up for a better game outcome than a fourth defeat.

PSG is the clear pleaser here with an unexpected but remarkable turn for BRU should they emerge victorious. Now, once this game reaches full time, PSG is the reasonable bet.
