Fnatic maintained its dominance with a 2-0 semifinal win versus MAD Lions after placing first in the four-team Group B. Fnatic began with a 16-14 win over Ancient, followed by a 16-12 win over Inferno. Fnatic won the eight-team tournament for the third time in a row, 2-0, thanks to William "mezii" Merriman of the United Kingdom, who had 43 kills and a plus-six kill/death margin. BIG, the first-place squad from Group A, had to come from behind to beat forZe 2-1 in the semifinals. BIG was down 19-16 after an initial loss on Inferno, but won 16-10 on Dust II and afterwards won with a 16-8 win on Nuke. The two teams will face each other in the Grand Final of the DreamHack Open November 2021 tonight at 11PM. Which team do you think will take home the $50,000 grand prize?
