Both teams may be on different courses, but one thing they have in common is that they will fight for three points as they go toe to toe this Saturday at Old Trafford. Although they are currently fourth in the Premier League table, Manchester United’s spot in the Champions League is nowhere near attainable, especially since West Ham United, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers have their eyes on Manchester United, waiting for a slip-up. Watford, on the other hand, rank 19th in the Premier League table, having 18 points after 25 games. They have lost four of their past six Premier League matches, which means that they have to work on overcoming Manchester United if they still want to survive this season. This Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00PM PST, both teams will grapple their way up at the Old Trafford, Manchester United’s ‘Theater of Dreams’. Manchester United is currently 4th in the Premier League. When they went up against Atletico Madrid, the Red Devils had trouble finding a footing in their game, but they came through in the second half, with manager Ralf Rangnick showing enthusiasm along with Anthony Elanga who was able to give the team an optimal finish. At the end of the match, Nemanja Matic was even full of praise for Elanga, saying he is the team’s future. Manchester United have played against Watford for 13 times at home in the league, and they have not lost a single match to Watford. Also, out of the team’s 21 Premier League games at home, they have lost only one game so far. Manchester United remains strong as they stay unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games. Watford are currently 19th in the Premier League. In the past, they have won the reverse fixture 4-1, and in this upcoming game, the team is looking forward to completing their first league double over the Red Devils. However, given their dismal form lately, we can only hope that they have prepared enough to overcome one of the well performing teams. When all is said and done, we see Manchester United winning this one, especially since they have only lost one out of sixteen games under Rangnick. Their performance looks favorable in attack.
