This February 11, 2022, the Premier League will be back in action with yet another anticipated match as Liverpool and Leicester City go against each other at Anfield.

Currently, Leicester City ranks 10th in the Premier League standings, and they also failed to keep up a fairly decent game this season. Last weekend, the Foxes seemed like antelopes caught in the headlights as they were defeated by Nottingham Forest in the Football Association Challenge Cup which ended in a 4 - 1 in favor of Nottingham Forest. If they want to win this match, they would have to put that 4 - 1 loss behind them.

As for Liverpool, they currently rank in 2nd place in the league table, as they stay nine points behind the leading Manchester City. Unlike the Foxes, the Merseyside giants have been showing exemplary performance along with their impressive form, which increases their chances of challenging the defending champions to attain their Premier League title.

In the past, Liverpool has maintained a good record against Leicester City and specifically won 52 out of 118 matches between the two teams, with Leicester City only acquiring 41 wins. They have won their last 14 matches in the Premier League, with 5 of them at Anfield. However, Liverpool lost during their last two Premier League matches against Leicester City, but they have never lost three times in a row to them. They have also been defeated in four Premier League games against Leicester City, with Jurgen Klopp managing the team. Leicester City, on the other hand, was not able to seize the opportunity to win their last two Premier League games, dropping 4 points for both matches along the way.

Comparable to their performance for this season, Leicester City is entering this game in a condition that is not optimal, which could make the match more challenging for them. The team is struggling defensively so they have to prepare more as they face one of the ruthless teams in the Premier League. As for Liverpool, while it is true that they occasionally lose their healthy form, their performance is still enough to make them lethal for their opponent. In line with this, they should be able to take the win for the upcoming match.

Catch the Meyerside giants go against the Foxes on Friday, February 11, 2022, at 3:45 AM PST, at Anfield.
